Keeping your account secure is critical to protecting sensitive data and preventing unauthorized access. ProPlaintiff.ai offers multiple tools to help strengthen your account security.
Where to Find Security Settings
Click your profile icon.
Select Settings.
Go to the User tab.
Click Security.
Change Password
In the Security tab, you can:
Update your password at any time.
Use the built-in strong password generator to create secure, hard-to-guess credentials.
💡 Tip: Store your credentials in a trusted password manager and avoid reusing passwords across platforms.
Two Factor Authentication
We strongly recommend enabling two factor authentication for an added layer of protection.
Authenticator App
Use apps such as:
Google Authenticator
Authy
Microsoft Authenticator
These apps generate time based codes required during login.
This is the most secure option and works offline.
⚠️ You only need one 2FA method enabled, but enabling multiple methods increases reliability.
Best Practices for Account Security
Use a unique and complex password.
Enable at least one two factor authentication method.
Never share login credentials.
Do not allow multiple users to operate under one account.
Regularly review System Logs under the Organization tab if you are an admin to monitor activity.
Need Additional Seats?
For security and compliance reasons, login credentials should never be shared. Each team member must have their own individual account.
Providing individual accounts for each team member ensures proper access control and security compliance.
There are two different processes depending on your account type.
Legacy Users
If you are a Legacy user and need additional seats, you will be prompted to schedule a demo with our sales team to discuss your available options.

Current Users
If you are on a current ProPlaintiff.ai plan and need to add users:
Open Settings
Go to the Team tab
Click Invite Members
Enter the new user’s information
Seat pricing will follow the rate agreed upon in your term sheet at the time of subscription.
You will be charged the agreed upon price per user per month rate, billed annually.

If You Suspect a Breach
Your data security is our top priority.
