Managing Payments in ProPlaintiff.ai
All subscription billing is handled through Stripe, but you can update and manage your payment information from within ProPlaintiff.ai. This ensures you can make changes quickly without leaving the platform.
To access your billing settings:
Log in to ProPlaintiff.ai.
Open your Settings from the top right dropdown.
Select the Subscription tab on the left.
The Subscription page displays your current payment methods, billing history, and available management options.
Updating Your Payment Method
Within the Subscription page, you will see a Payment Methods section. From here you can:
Add a new payment method
Set a default payment method
Remove existing payment methods
Update cards before they expire
When you add a new card, you can immediately designate it as the default payment method. Any changes take effect for all future billing cycles.
Understanding How Payments Are Processed
Although payment methods are managed inside ProPlaintiff.ai, all subscription charges are securely processed by Stripe. Stripe ensures that your payment information is encrypted and handled in compliance with industry security standards.
When you add, edit, or remove a card in the Subscription page, the changes update your Stripe customer account automatically.
Viewing and Downloading Billing History
Below your payment methods, you will find a Billing History section. This area allows you to:
Review all previous invoices
View details for each billing period
Download invoices or receipts for accounting purposes
Each invoice includes billing date, amount, and full itemization of charges. Billing history remains available at all times.
🚨 Billing History is only visible to organization owners and admins with access to Organization Management.

ProPlaintiff.ai allows you to manage your payment information directly through the Subscription page while Stripe securely processes all charges. You can add or update payment methods, select a default card, remove outdated information, and review or download your billing history at any time.
