The Patches tab provides a complete history of changes made to your case data, allowing you to review, track, and restore previous versions of information. It acts as a safeguard for your case, ensuring that no important data is permanently lost.

Where to Find Patches

  1. Select a case from the Viewing Case dropdown

  2. Navigate to Case Overview

  3. Click the Patches tab


What the Patches Section Shows

The Patches tab displays a history of updates made to your case, including:

  • Changes to damages

  • Updates to timeline events

  • Modifications to parties

  • Other case data edits

Each patch includes:

  • Status (e.g., Applied or Draft)

  • Type of update

  • Description of the change

  • Date and time of the update


Patch Status Types

Patches are organized by status:

  • Applied – Changes that are currently active in your case

  • Draft – Changes that have been created but not finalized

  • All – Displays the full history of all patches

You can toggle between these views to filter your results.


Reverting Changes

If a change needs to be undone, you can revert it directly from the Patches tab.

To revert a change:

  1. Locate the patch you want to undo

  2. Click Revert

  3. The system will restore the previous state of that data

This allows you to safely correct mistakes or recover deleted or modified information.


How Patches Are Created

Patches are automatically created when changes occur in your case, including:

  • AI generated updates

  • Manual edits

  • Merged or modified data

This ensures that every significant change is tracked and recoverable.
