Where to Find the AI Paralegal
Log in to ProPlaintiff.ai.
Open the main navigation panel on the left side of the screen.
Select AI Paralegal.
The AI Paralegal workspace will open in the center of your screen, displaying a text entry area, an upload panel, and available quick action tools.
Using the AI Paralegal Workspace
You may begin working with the AI Paralegal by entering a description of your task or case in the text field. The AI can assist with a wide range of activities including drafting, summarizing, legal analysis, evidence review, and research.
Uploading Files and Photos
You can upload documents such as PDF, DOC, and DOCX files for the AI Paralegal to review, summarize, extract information from, or use as reference material.
You can also upload photos. The AI Paralegal can describe the contents of an image, identify visible elements, summarize what the image depicts, or incorporate relevant details into a draft or analysis.
Referencing a Case Using the @ Symbol
You can use the at symbol (@) to reference a specific case directly within your prompt.
Type @ followed by the case name or title, and the AI Paralegal will automatically pull in the case information, documents, and context associated with that case.
This allows you to generate documents, run analysis, or create summaries without re uploading files or reentering case details.
Example:
“Draft a mediation summary for @Hernandez v. North Valley Transport.”
Submitting a Request
After entering your prompt and attaching any relevant files or photos, select Send. The AI will generate a response based on the information provided. You may continue refining the task by asking follow up questions or requesting revisions.
Quick Action Tools
Quick Action tools provide one click access to commonly generated legal documents and resources. Selecting one of these actions automatically fills the prompt field with the appropriate request, allowing the AI to generate the document immediately.
Available Quick Action tools may include:
Draft Lien Reduction Letter
Create 10 Interrogatories
Find Case Law
Create a Motion
Create a Subpoena
Draft a Mediation Letter
Draft a Pleading
Letter of Representation
Motion for Summary Judgment
These tools are intended to streamline frequently performed tasks and reduce manual drafting time.
Tips for Best Results
To ensure the highest quality output from the AI Paralegal:
Be specific and clear in your request
Provide context including relevant case details, facts, or desired tone
Upload all documents or images that may assist the AI
Review all generated material for accuracy and completeness
Edit and format drafts as needed to meet legal and client requirements
