Sync Case
Pulls updates from Clio into ProPlaintiff
Archive Case
Archives the imported matter in ProPlaintiff and flags it as archived. Allows for future re-import if needed.
These options are available from the Active Cases actions menu.
Step 5: Imported Documents
All documents imported from Clio are automatically organized.
File Location:
Stored under a folder named:
Clio Imports
This folder appears within Case Files and keeps imported documents separate from manually uploaded files.
How It Works
Once connected:
Clio matters can be imported instantly
Documents are automatically attached to the case
Files are indexed for AI tools (Demand Letters, Medical Chronologies, etc.)
Changes can be synced in either direction
Best Practices
Import active cases first to begin working immediately
Use Sync Case regularly to keep data up to date
Use Export to Clio when updates are finalized
Keep imported documents organized within the Clio Imports folder
Review imported data for accuracy before generating legal documents
